This is Chris Redgrave for Zions Bank Speaking on Business.

Is there anything better than getting a good scare around Halloween? How about the anticipation of getting scared? That's what James Bernard and his team at Castle of Chaos have been providing for years. They've been featured on the Travel Channel as one of America's Scariest Haunted Houses, right here in Utah.

This year he's excited because they've redone half the rooms in his haunted houses, and he said the quality of the whole program has gone up. Customer feedback on the redesign has been the best they've ever had. This man is serious about his business model and hand picks the actors and actresses in his two Castle of Chaos locations, in Taylorsville and Riverdale. He puts them through an extensive training program designed to benefit his fear-seeking clientele. This helps maximize the scare factor for the around 60,000 visitors who will come to Castle of Chaos this season.

James is so committed to creating a great experience at Castle of Chaos that he went to a haunted house owners convention in St. Louis earlier this year. His newest innovation is the Four Levels of Fear. It goes from the first level, Monster Be Gone, where you're given a glow wand to tell the monsters you're already scared all the way to X-Scream Hands on Horror where the actors can grab you and drag you off. The cool thing about this model is James is putting the level of fear experience into the hands of his clients.

Castle of Chaos, James was originally designed to be the anti-haunted house, as a living mystery. However, he progressed the experience at customers' request to the scare factor it is today.

In addition to being open from now through Halloween, Castle of Chaos opens for Scream Break in the spring and on every Friday the 13th, and James says each Friday the 13th is bigger than the last. So, get ready for Halloween with Castle of Chaos, one of Utah's most well-attended haunted attractions. Have a blast scaring yourself as little or as much as you want.
