ABOUT THE BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA
The Boy Scouts of America Great Salt Lake Council has been building the character in boys for nearly 100 years. The Council is one of the largest in the country and continues to grow each year. The Scouts and volunteers from the Great Salt Lake Council provide hundreds of thousands of service hours to the community each year. Boys who participate in Scouting learn important life skills and build character in the Scouting program. The Boy Scouts of today will use these skills and values as they become future honest business and civic leaders, responsible fathers, and trustworthy mentors.
