SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — A new series of TV spots will feature Utah's lieutenant governor in conversation with regular voters around the northern part of the state.

The campaign promotes the state's election website, vote.utah.gov. The site shows elected officials, sample ballots and polling place locations.

In the TV spots starting this week, Utah Lt. Governor Spencer Cox will be shown encouraging people to educate themselves about the issues and vote in the election.

They'll also serve as a reminder that the online voter registration deadline is Oct. 28 and general election is Nov. 4.
