COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Second-year Ohio State coach Kevin McGuff has dismissed second-leading scorer Raven Ferguson from the team, citing a violation of team rules.

McGuff said he would address the dismissal at the team's media day later on Thursday.

Ferguson, a senior guard, averaged 10.8 points and 5.4 rebounds a game last season while earning honorable mention All-Big Ten honors. She started 19 times in her 95 career games.
