INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — The Colts released receiver Da'Rick Rogers on Monday after he was inactive for all four games this season.
Coach Chuck Pagano said Rogers was released for "conduct detrimental" to the team. Safety Dewey McDonald was promoted from the practice squad to the active roster.
Rogers joined Indy (2-2) as a free agent in 2013 after acknowledging he had failed multiple drug tests at Tennessee. He eventually transferred to Tennessee Tech.
Indy also placed reinstated linebacker Robert Mathis on the reserve/non-football injury list.
