MOORESVILLE, N.C. (AP) — IndyCar veteran Simon Pagenaud is joining Team Penske for the 2015 season under a multi-year agreement announced Monday.
The 30-year-old Frenchman is a four-time race winner in IndyCar Series. He joins three other drivers for Team Penske, including 2014 series champion Will Power, Helio Castroneves and Juan Pablo Montoya. Pagenaud has finished among the top five in the championship standings each of the last three seasons.
Pagenaud drove last season for Sam Schmidt on a team that included rookie Mikhail Aleshin. Terms of his new deal were not disclosed.
