NEW YORK, Jun 19, 2006 (UPI via COMTEX) -- Julia Roberts waves goodbye to Broadway at the closing show of "Three Days of Rain," the play that Roberts has starred in for the last 12 weeks.
Despite negative reviews for Richard Greenberg's drama and its lead lady, Roberts, people packed into the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre to see Sunday's final performance, The New York Daily News reported Monday.
At the curtain call, the actors were all given bouquets of white roses. Producer Marc Platt praised them as "the most dedicated group of actors I have ever worked with" and introduced the cast one by one, saving Roberts for last.
