An exhibition devoted to the paintings of Rembrandt, born 400 years ago this year, and the Italian master Caravaggio had drawn more than 400,000 visitrs by the time it closed this weekend, officials said.
The exhibition opened in Amsterdam in February and was organised by the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh museum.
The final weekend attracted 10,000 visitors.
