WASHINGTON (AP) — Jordan Zimmermann of the Washington Nationals has not allowed a hit through eight innings against the Miami Marlins.

Washington leads 1-0.

Zimmermann has allowed only two baserunners Sunday. Justin Bourn walked on a full-count pitch with two outs in the fifth inning. Garrett Jones reached first on a strikeout with two outs in the seventh when he swung and missed on a wild pitch. But catcher Wilson Ramos then picked off Jones at first.
