CHICAGO (AP) — White Sox outfielder Avisail Garcia has left Thursday's game against the Kansas City Royals because of a stiff lower back.

Garcia lined out in the second inning and was replaced in right field by Moises Sierra before the top of the third. The White Sox say he is day to day.

Garcia, who entered the game batting .253, missed more than four months due to a torn labrum in his left shoulder.
