SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — The superintendent of Bryce Canyon National Park is moving a few miles southwest to take the same post at Zion National Park.
The National Park Service announced Wednesday that Jeff Bradybaugh will begin as Zion superintendent in late October.
Bradybaugh has been with the National Park Service for 32 years, serving as superintendent of Bryce Canyon since October 2010. This will mark the second stint at Zion for Bradybaugh, who was previously the chief resource manager at the popular southern Utah national park.
Zion National Park is the oldest and most popular of Utah's national parks.
Bradybaugh has held leadership positions in the National Park Service in Arizona, California, Kentucky and North Dakota.
