LAS VEGAS (AP) — Firefighters were battling a blaze in a two-story apartment building a few blocks east of the Las Vegas Strip.
It wasn't immediately clear if anyone was injured after Clark County firefighters were called at 3:45 p.m. Wednesday to the burning building at Harmon Avenue and Paradise Road.
A fire spokesman wasn't immediately available.
Flames could be seen through the roof of the building and smoke wafted toward the Las Vegas Strip until firefighters began to contain the fire.
