NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. (AP) — A murder charge has been dropped against a 16-year-old North Las Vegas high school junior after a convenience store video gave him an alibi. LOVELOCK, Nev. (AP) — Investigators say the new president of a small gypsum mine east of Lovelock wasn't properly trained how to use an ATV when he rolled the vehicle and was killed this spring. The Mine Safety and Health Administration is faulting management for not providing enough training for 57-year-old William Hill before he took the ATV out on the Gypsum Mountain Mine grounds.

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. has told Nevada boxing regulators that scenes of him rolling joints, betting and fighting in a cable TV reality show were all made up.
