COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho (AP) — A northern Idaho man who carried a concealed gun without a permit onto the North Idaho College campus has been sentenced to nine days in jail and two years of supervised parole.
The Coeur d'Alene Press reports (http://bit.ly/Y243is) in a story on Tuesday that 38-year-old Michael Dan of Rathdrum received the sentence last week in Kootenai County District Court.
Police arrested Dan in February after receiving a report that Dan would come to class with a gun. Police say they also found drug paraphernalia.
Dan pleaded guilty July 18 to two misdemeanor counts of carrying a concealed weapon without a permit and possession of paraphernalia.
