EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) — The third week of the NFL season wraps up tonight with Chicago Bears at the New York Jets. The Bears, coming off an impressive comeback win over the 49ers a week ago Sunday, are playing their second consecutive prime-time game.

ALLEN PARK, Mich. (AP) — Detroit Lions middle linebacker Stephen Tulloch will miss the rest of the season with a torn ACL he suffered while celebrating a sack. Tulloch injured his knee in the first quarter of Detroit's 19-7 victory over Green Bay yesterday.

ASHBURN, Va. (AP) — Washington Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall has a ruptured left Achilles and is done for the season. The three-time Pro Bowl player went down without being touched in the third quarter of Sunday's loss to Philadelphia.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — Panthers coach Ron Rivera says Pro Bowl fullback Mike Tolbert has a hairline fracture in his right leg and running back Jonathan Stewart has a severely sprained right knee. Rivera says Tolbert won't play Sunday at Baltimore and will be reevaluated on a week-to-week basis, while Stewart will be reassessed on Friday.

CHICAGO (AP) — Not only is St. Louis battling to win the National League Central, they send 19-9 Adam Wainwright to the mound at the Chicago Cubs tonight. The Cardinals begin the final week of the regular season 2 1/2 games up on Pittsburgh. The Bucs play in Atlanta.
