POST, Texas (AP) — Elementary school classes have been canceled in a West Texas city after fire crews worked seven hours to battle flames at the school.
Authorities say they don't know what started the fire at the Post Elementary School on Sunday. The extent of the damage is also unclear. No injuries were reported.
The school district says school is out on Monday.
The Garza County Sheriff says a fire marshal's investigation will begin Monday.
Post has a population of more than 5,000 people and is about 40 miles southeast of Lubbock.
