LAS VEGAS (AP) — Police say they're looking for a driver and a tractor-trailer that ran over and killed an apparently homeless man sleeping beneath it in downtown Las Vegas.
Las Vegas police Officer Ken Salisbury said the 50-year-old man was found dead about 10:30 a.m. Sunday in a parking lot at 6th Street and Stewart Avenue. He wasn't immediately identified.
Salisbury says it appears the accident happened sometime after 8 a.m.
The truck and white trailer were last seen driving south on 6th Street, and Salisbury says it's not known if the driver realized what had happened.
