The body of the mother of four hasn't been found.

MOSCOW, Idaho (AP) — County officials in Idaho are considering shifting public defense responsibilities to the state after struggling to meet constitutionally mandated funding and training requirements. Idaho Association of Counties president Patty Weeks says most counties are not equipped to manage public defense when funding varies between counties.

KETCHUM, Idaho (AP) — City leaders in the central Idaho resort town of Ketchum have passed a resolution requesting state officials use nonlethal methods to manage wolf conflicts with livestock in Blaine County.
