OGDEN, Utah (AP) — Authorities say a fire that apparently sparked in an ATV caused about half a million dollars in damage to the Weber County Fairgrounds.
Weber Fire District Fire Marshal Brandon Thueson said crews were called to the fairgrounds a little before 11 p.m. Tuesday and had the blaze contained in about half an hour.
Officials say the fire was limited to a storage building that held maintenance equipment including tractors, lawnmowers and power tools.
No injuries were reported.
Thueson said the fire appears to be accidental.
