HOUSTON (AP) — Six students on a Houston Independent School District bus have been slightly hurt when the vehicle rear-ended a car.
Houston Fire Department Capt. Ruy (ROO'-ee) Lozano says the victims suffered apparent minor injuries in Wednesday morning's accident.
All six children were transported to hospitals to be checked.
Officials say the bus apparently struck a car that had suddenly stopped on Highway 288.
An HISD statement says the students who were on the bus attend Lockhart Elementary School and MacGregor Elementary School.
