INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Dense fog has prompted a weather warning for much of central and southern Indiana and caused some school districts to delay their openings.
The National Weather Service is warning of fog possibly dropping visibilities to a quarter mile or less on Wednesday until it is burned off by late morning.
The fog warning was issued for an area from suburban Indianapolis south and west to the Seymour and Vincennes areas. A handful of school districts announced two--hour opening delays.
