MOSCOW, Idaho (AP) — A co-defendant in a first-degree murder trial in northern Idaho testified Tuesday that he saw Charles Capone strangle his estranged wife and then helped dump her body in the Snake River near Clarkston, Washington.

The Lewiston Tribune reports (http://bit.ly/1uuWwnM) that David Stone also testified that Capone threatened him and his family so Stone helped weigh the body down with chains before he and Capone dropped it off a bridge.

The murder trial of the 53-year-old Capone has entered its second week in northern Idaho's 2nd District Court.

Capone is accused of killing 40-year-old Rachael Anderson in April 2010. The body of the mother of four hasn't been found.

Stone made a deal with prosecutors to have a murder charge against him dropped in exchange for testifying against Capone.
