WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (AP) — Wake Forest says it has indefinitely suspended reserve quarterback Kevin Sousa for a violation of team rules.

The redshirt junior hadn't played in either of the first two games for the Demon Deacons (1-1) and hasn't thrown a college pass.

He redshirted the 2011 season and played in two games off the bench the following year. He moved from quarterback to receiver midway through last season and played in the final two games as a reserve but didn't record a catch.

He moved back to quarterback in the spring.
