SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Two people were hurt when a Davis County Sheriff's Office car collided with a Dodge Durango Sunday evening.
The deputy was responding to a medical call and had his lights and sirens activated when he hit the SUV in Syracuse. Passenger Daniele Potter, 46, was injured in the crash. The driver, her husband, and their two children, ages 5 and 8, weren't hurt.
The impact shoved the SUV onto a home's front lawn. Both cars were totaled.
Potter and Deputy Brad Harrop were treated and released at hospitals Sunday. The accident is under investigation.
