DENVER (AP) — Running back Ronnie Hillman and cornerback Kayvon Webster are inactive for Denver's opener against the Indianapolis Colts.
Both players became ill at the Broncos' preseason finale on Aug. 28 and were hospitalized in Dallas. But Hillman wasn't on the injury report all week. And Webster was listed with a nagging ankle injury, but was a full participant and had been projected as probable.
Nathan Palmer, Ben Garland (ankle), Danny Trevathan (leg), Michael Schofield and Mitch Unrein are Denver's other inactives.
Injured center Khaled Holmes is the biggest name among Indy's inactives. He is replaced by A.Q. Shipley, who signed with the Colts on Monday.
The Colts' other inactives are Da'Rick Rogers, Zurlon Tipton, Sergio Brown, Henoc Muamba, Joe Reitz and Montori Hughes.
