NATCHITOCHES, La. (AP) — William Housel has been named interim director of the Louisiana Scholars' College at Northwestern State University.
The Scholars' College is Louisiana's only designated honors college.
Housel has been a member of Northwestern State's faculty since 2003 and has served as coordinator of the School of Social Sciences since 2007.
He holds a master's degree and a doctorate in social sciences from Syracuse University.
