SHERYL CROW appreciates performing live more than ever following her recent battle with breast cancer, because many of her songs have taken on a new meaning.

The ALL I WANNA DO singer, who finished her cancer treatment just six weeks ago (07MAY06), was eager to swiftly return to the stage.

And Crow wants to honour her "amazingly supportive" fans with heartfelt renditions of her greatest hits.

She says, "I'm always on the go, and for all of the sudden my life to be halted by a life-threatening illness really caught my attention.

"A song as simple as HOME for me, it really grabs my heart when I sing that song because the way people really showed up for me in my illness, not just family and friends but people all over the world sending me cards and sending prayers and love.

"It was a powerful experience for me." (MM/WNWA/GES)
