WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah (AP) -- Jeff Zornow has resigned after four months as president of the Utah Grizzlies of the ECHL.

Zornow, a retired businessman, was hired on Feb. 16 by team owner David Elmore to replace Chuck Schell, who had been hired as general manage in June 2005.

When Schell resigned in February, the general manager position was not filled, but Zornow took over the day-to-day business operations.

Kevin Bruder, who went from club president to chief executive officer when Zornow was hired, will take on the title of president until a successor to Zornow is named, a club spokesman said Wednesday.
