After their first full week of practice, Utah State held their first scrimmage of fall camp on Tuesday. The Utah State offense scored six touchdowns as senior quarterback Chuckie Keeton was 16-of-22 passing for 180 yards with two touchdowns, while rushing for 32 yards on seven carries with one touchdown while facing the second and third team defense.
Joe Hill, returning from an ACL injury in 2013, ran for 67 yards and one touchdown.
Junior college transfer Hunter Sharpe had the stand out performance of the scrimmage, catching five passes for 90 yards, including a 40 yard catch and run from Keeton.
Utah State will hold their next scrimmage on Saturday, August 16 at Romney Stadium, beginning at 6:00 pm.
