CENTERVILLE, Utah (AP) — Davis County officials say a paraglider has been hospitalized after crashing onto a mountain near Centerville.

Davis County Sheriff's Lt. Susan Poulsen says the paraglider was conscious when emergency crews arrived Wednesday afternoon.

She did not have details on the extent of the paraglider's injuries or any other details about the person.

The paraglider crashed around 1 p.m. in the forest at an elevation of about 6,000 feet.

A rescue helicopter flew the paraglider out.

Crews are still investigating the cause of the crash.
