HOMEWOOD, Ala. (AP) — Police say a student missing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham has been found safe in north Alabama.

The Homewood Police Department posted an update Wednesday saying 20-year-old Elizabeth Koury was located around Madison, which is near Huntsville.

Police say no foul play is suspected, and they didn't release details.

Authorities earlier said Koury left her parents' home for class at the UAB on Friday and was later seen near the Huntsville airport after a cab ride.

Homewood police issued an alert for Koury on Monday.
