Copenhagen (dpa) - Hong Kong-born Princess Alexandra of Denmark, ex-wife of Danish Prince Joachim, is single again after breaking up with her beau, reports said Wednesday.

Gossip magazine Kig Ind reported that cameraman Martin Jorgensen, 14 years her junior, moved out of her house last week.

Alexandra, 42, divorced Prince Joachim, youngest son of Queen Margrethe, in April last year after a six-month separation.

The couple were married in November 1995 and have two sons, Nikolai and Felix.

Kig Ind said the fact that the princess and Jorgensen were unable to publically display their feelings for each other contributed to the breakup.

The two fell for each other in 2003 during the making of a documentary on the princess's charity work for UNICEF.

Earlier this year, Prince Joachim was reported to be seriously dating a French-born woman who lives in Geneva.

Marie Cavallier, 30, was named as the prince's new girlfriend.
