SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Salt Lake City police say the suspicious death of a 34-year-old woman at a downtown hotel Thursday is now considered a homicide.
Police said in a statement Friday that Holly Nicole Carges was found by hotel management at the Royal Garden Inn around 9 a.m. Thursday.
Officials would not release other details about her death or what caused them to classify it as a homicide.
A medical examiner was expected to perform an autopsy Friday to determine her cause of death.
The Deseret News reports (http://bit.ly/Ugw9Vd) Carges was found in a room of the hotel not used by guests.
Officials ask for anyone with information to contact police.
