SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Los Angeles Angels ace Bartolo Colon pitched seven innings for Salt Lake in his third minor league rehabilitation start, giving up six earned runs and nine hits against the Fresno Grizzlies, who won six-to-five. Colon's first pitch was hit for a home run by Fred Lewis. The Grizzlies also got consecutive homers by Chad Santos and Daniel Ortmeier in the fourth.

Colon, who did not walk a batter, has been on the disabled list since April 19th with inflammation in his right shoulder. The 2005 American League Cy Young Award winner struck out one and hit a batter with a pitch. Adam Pavkovich led the Bees with three hits, including a two-run home run in the fourth.

The Los Angeles Angels activated center fielder Darin Erstad from the 15-day disabled list yesterday and optioned outfielder Tommy Murphy to Triple-A Salt Lake.

Erstad had been sidelined since May first because of irritation in his right ankle, which also bothered him during spring training. The two-time All-Star is hitting 2-38 with no homers and four R-B-Is in 80 at-bats spanning 22 games this season.
