SALT LAKE CITY — Women's ski jumping made its Olympic debut this past February after a legal fight brought on by three Utah ski jumpers. Those at the base of the venue in Sochi that night witnessed an amazing response by the crowd and the worldwide media.
Former Salt Lake City Mayor Deedee Corradini is the president of Women's Ski Jumping USA and led the fight to get the sport in the Olympics. Corradini joined us in studio along with Logan Sankey and Gabby Armstrong, two teens setting their sights on Olympic goals as part of the Fly Girls camp in Park City.
A gala fund-raising event will be held Thursday, July 17, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Montage in Deer Valley.
