GRAND TETON NATIONAL PARK, Wyo. (AP) — Authorities say eight people were hospitalized after a tour bus flipped on its side on a busy highway in Grand Teton National Park. POST FALLS, Idaho (AP) — A 17-year-old Spokane boy drowned while swimming with friends at Black Bay in the Spokane River at Post Falls. The Kootenai County sheriff's office says he was swimming with friends about 10 p.m. Thursday when he called out he could not swim anymore. He slipped under water and did not come back up. He's identified by the sheriff's office as Trey Daley.

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (AP) — Firefighters say a large stack of alfalfa that went up in flames in south-central Idaho will burn for almost a week. The 480-ton, $100,000 stack spontaneously combusted Thursday. Craig Giles, who grew the alfalfa, says he hired a custom operator to bale it. He says the bales were stacked with enough distance between them to allow moisture and heat to escape.
