Mahina was one of 38 players named to the nominee list for the John Mackey Award, given to the nation's outstanding tight end, while Fusi is one of 66 nominees for the Rimington Trophy, awarded to the nation's premier center.

Mahina enters his senior season with 26 career catches for 310 yards and two touchdowns. He is expected to play a significant role in BYU's pass attack in 2014.

A senior in 2014, Fusi played in 10 games last year, starting six games at center, after transferring in from Mt. San Antonio College immediately before the season. Offensive coordinator Robert Anae expects big things from the 6-foot, 317-pound lineman during the upcoming season.
