The late Larry Sagers loved hollyhock- and even wrote an article about it in the Deseret News which we've linked on the right hand side of the page. They are a wonderful flower that continues to bloom through the later part of the summer. Unlike Rose of Sharon, this is an herbaceous perennial that dies back to the ground each year.
