Moscow (dpa) - Gulfija Khanafeyeva set a new world record of 77.26 metres in the women's hammer throw on Monday.
Khanafeyeva set the record at the Russian athletics championships in Tula, improving on the old mark of 77.06 metres set by compatriot Tatjana Lysenko in July last year in Moscow.
