LONDON (AP) — Men's top seed Novak Djokovic (NOH'-vak JOH'-kuh-vihch) survived a scare at Wimbledon today. He took a hard fall to the ground but was able to finish his match and advance to the fourth round. On the women's side No. 2 Li Na (nah) was a loser as was 30th seed Venus Williams.

UNDATED (AP) — The U.S. Soccer Federation has confirmed that midfielder Jermaine Jones has a broken nose. He was involved in a mid-match collision with a teammate, but a spokesman for U.S. Soccer says Jones will be able to play against Belgium in the knockout round.

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — The NHL's draft is being held this evening in Philadelphia. The Florida Panthers hold the first pick, barring a last-minute trade, with Buffalo choosing second and Edmonton third.

MEMPHIS (AP) — The agent for Memphis forward Zach Randolph says his client has agreed to a contract extension with the club. Raymond Brothers confirms with The Associated Press that Randolph is exercising his $16.5 million option for 2014-15 and has agreed on a two-year extension worth $20 million.

BALTIMORE (AP) — Pitcher Bud Norris of the Baltimore Orioles has been placed on the15-day disabled list with a strained right groin. He is 7-5 on the season with a 3.62 earned run average.
