SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — The beer will flow at a Utah Oktoberfest, after the state liquor board backed off its warning that the German celebration of all things ale could go dry this year. Utah's state liquor board voted unanimously to grant a license for Snowbird Ski Resort's 12-week event now in its fourth decade. Earlier this year, the state liquor board warned Snowbird that it might withhold the permit.

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Utah's top gun lobbyist will once again be able to access his arsenal after resolving a criminal case against him. Clark Aposhian pleaded no contest to a disorderly conduct infraction stemming from an encounter with his ex-wife's new husband. Aposhian had to surrender his weapons last year after his Memorial Day arrest.

PROVO, Utah (AP) — Police have arrested two brothers from Orem and a third man accused of putting on fake mustaches and beards before committing bank robberies. The brothers are accused in a robbery May 2 at the AM Bank in Lindon, while the other man is accused of joining them for the robbery of an AM Bank branch in Provo on June 17.

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Utah quarterback Travis Wilson has been cleared to play after a concussion last season revealed a pre-existing medical condition. The school says that a CT scan on June 20 showed that the previous trauma to an intracranial artery has remained stable since February. The injury was discovered after Wilson suffered a concussion in a Nov. 9 game against Arizona State.
