BELO HORIZONTE, Brazil (AP) — Costa Rica has made two changes to its lineup from its wins over Uruguay and Italy, with coach Jorge Luis Pinto deciding to rest a couple of players before the knockout phase begins.

Defender Roy Miller comes in for Michael Umana and forward Randall Brenes will start in favor of winger Christian Bolanos.

The Ticos have already qualified for the knockout phase and would top Group D with at least a draw.

England has already been eliminated and coach Roy Hodgson made nine changes, having already announced his team a day before the match.

Striker Daniel Sturridge and center back Gary Cahill are the only holdovers, with the slew of newcomers including Adam Lallana, Ross Barkley and Luke Shaw. Frank Lampard will captain the side in place of Steven Gerrard.
