(Cheston Slater, Park Manager, Yuba State Park) the park is over 40 years old, it was established as a means to get water shares to irrigate crops. It was said when they built the dam they sung, you'll be damned if you do, damned if you don't and that kind of rolled off into Yuba.

Located about 20 miles south of Nephi, just off of I-15 is Yuba State park.

(Cheston) We've got five campgrounds, anywhere to primitive camping where you can pull your boat and rv right on the beach, we've got atv accessibility from all the campsites. We've got full hookups, water, power, shad, showers. I mean if you can think it we can do it. We've got pictographs you can see from the water, you can rent atvs here, boats, side by sides, eat a burger, ride a zip line while you are here.

(Cheston) over 1500 feet of zip action, 800 feet out, 650 feet back. Ten bucks will get you out and back.

Yuba State Park has two campgrounds and launch ramps at Oasis and Painted Rocks, for more information on any of our 43 state parks, check out stateparks.utah.gov.
