HUMBOLDT, Ariz. (AP) — An education foundation started by "Star Wars" filmmaker George Lucas has its camera aimed at a rural Arizona school.

The Daily Courier reported (http://bit.ly/1wfuEVe ) Saturday that the George Lucas Educational Foundation will film Humboldt Elementary School in Humboldt in August.

The oldest school in its district, the campus is being spotlighted for being high-performing despite its rural location and low-income student population.

School leaders say they underwent extensive interviews with representatives from Edutopia, a Lucas-owned company that oversees film productions labeled as "Schools that Work."

A crew will be at the school from Aug. 25-28 and document classroom activities and staff meetings.

Edutopia films selected schools to show effective learning methods for K-12 learning.
