TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) — The president of a Tucson school PTA has pleaded guilty to snapping a photo of a teenage girl in a store fitting room.
The Arizona Daily Star reported (http://bit.ly/1pp1tLs ) Saturday that 32-year-old Aaron Lee Garibay pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of attempted voyeurism in Pima County Superior Court.
According to court documents, surveillance video shows Garibay went into the dressing room of a thrift store April 24 but wasn't carrying any clothing.
The 17-year-old victim says she spotted someone in an adjoining fitting room holding a cellphone over the wall to take a picture.
Police were called and they arrested Garibay.
Garibay was the head of the PTA at Steele Elementary School.
He is scheduled to be sentenced July 16.
