Jeremiah Jensen ReportingBMX racing is becoming a favorite among kids in Utah. If you have a young'un that loves the extreme, be aware that there's a new state of the art BMX track in West Jordan.

Bicycle motocross began in California in the late 60's. Now 40 years later, the sport is alive and well in Utah.

Rad Canyon BMX is a sanctioned track that brings out BMX enthusiasts of all ages, like 49-year-old Matt Spencer.

Boys and girls participate in the sport, fathers and sons race each other and children as young as three years old compete. Many who race locally compete at the national level.

If you want to get into BMX racing, here is some information: you can buy a year membership or pay by race. Entrance fees are very affordable-- there are family discounts.
