BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Boise police say a 32-year-old man has died after he fell into the Boise River.
The name of the man was not released.
Police say the incident that occurred Saturday morning appears to be a tragic accident.
They say the man was fishing when others saw him fall into the swift moving water about 7 a.m. and was swept downstream.
He was in the water for nearly an hour before rescuers found him and pulled him out. He later died at a local hospital.
