CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) — West Virginia officials are honoring 55 teachers that received National Board Certification in 2013.
The Department of Education says a ceremony will be held Wednesday evening to honor the teachers.
Official say National Board Certification means the teachers have successfully demonstrated advanced teaching knowledge, skills and practices.
West Virginia now has more than 750 nationally certified teachers.
