WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) — Police in Wilmington say a bomb threat at a local middle school was a hoax.
Police say P.S. duPont Middle School received a bomb threat via telephone on Friday. The school then called police. Students were evacuated from the building and patrol officers and bomb sniffing dogs searched the school.
Police say the threat was determined to be unfounded and students returned to class. The incident is under investigation.
