The second round of the LPGA Championship at the Bulle Rock Golf Club was stopped Friday because of rain.

After a dry morning a large downpour hit the course in the afternoon sending the players to seek shelter in the clubhouse.

The interruption was expected to last a couple of hours according to the tournament officials.

Thirty-seven players, of a 144 total, were able to finish their rounds before the storm hit.
